David Kent’s Cabin by Brian W. Ferry
‘The cabin he calls home was designed by a woman and her brother, a shipbuilder. It borrows the ideas of utility and function from shipbuilding: a coffee table that snaps into the corner couch to create a guest bed, a retractable ladder to the loft to make room for guests. It is constructed of the salvaged wood from the previous cabin on this site, built around 1923’. More from Brian W. Ferry here

“I proudly present my very first publication, RAMBLE , Volume 1 – Alaska. This last spring I visited Alaska’s remote Kenai Fjords region aboard the 60’ vessel the Milo, a retired steel fishing boat turned surf stoked. Joined by a crew of eclectic surfers, photographers and sea people we searched for surfable waves and salty endeavors in the far north pacific. Equipped with a Nikon 35mm SLR, an Olympus xa-1, and a small bundle of art supplies I captured the following during my time in ‘The Last Frontier’”. Trevor Gordon
